Dr. Tape of Hat Lake has installed an innovation at the famous sana tarium. Whether the new system is original on his part is not known, but introducing it at the sanatarium shows how much the doctor is think ing about the comfort and welfare of patients who come to him for expert treatment This innovation is nothing other than a new method of arousing patients out of their gentle slumbers in the morning. Instead of sending a boy to the mom in which the patient i sleeping and directing him to pound on the door with his bare knuckles, or ringing a hideously toned hand bell, he has hourrht silver chimes of four notes. This the boy takes to the room of the J patient and tape with a felt covered mallet. Instead of chasing the god of sleep away with the hideous rap in which there is no music at all and which makes the gentle friend of the tiTeless little god wake up feeling sourly he is enticed out of his arms by the sweet silvery tingle of this chim ing belL ' He Is wooed by the tunefulness of this friendly instrument and arises with music in his eoul to begin the day cheerful and happy. At night Orpheue is enticed back to the sleeping chamber by a different tune, one that is soothing to tired serves and aching muscles. It is "taps", the same tune that lulls to rest the soldier im bis camp after a bard day of f atlngue duty or of fight ing. Dr. Tape exemplified tke music of thie charming instrument to visit ors yesterday and all were Btruck not only with the novel idea, but with the wonderfully silver like music which it gave forth. He stated that ho had tried it out in another institu tion with marked results. 1 bttO WHO HAMS TO BE SUM. OR. FOR SALE Milk Cows and heifers, Phone Farm 14X. 4-6-4-tp.-e. o. d. DAILY AUTO SERVICE.
