It is safe to say that 90 per cent of the houses built in La Grande this year will install them. No home is modern without them. They are as important as sanitary plumbing. Good lights are equally important, how ever, if you happen to live in a rented house. Your landlord owes it to you, and you owe it to yourself to have nothing but the best light. Electric lights are easily installed and will prove a source of lasting satisfaction to you. Call or phone Main 34. Eastern Ore- Light J Power Co. EAT WHEATLETS THE BREAKFAST FOOD THAT MAKES YOU'HAPPYZALLZDA Y Clean Up Notice. United effort is in progress by the fruit growers of Union county to clean up the apple and pear orchards in fected with blight, before the blossom ing period. I would like to urge im mediate action on the part of property owners, and the parties in charge of property, where apple and pear trees are grown, to make a careful inspec tion of their trees, and cut out and burn all dead wood or branches. The fruit .inspector will be pretty busy and will probably visit most of the places infected. Due to the fact that blossoming period is not far off, notice for the time to clean up will be short.
