Ut GUIDE MMWIWS FODiEDlFI T LAKE Hot Lake Springs, Feb.. 28(Special) The event of the week at the Springs Hotel was the concert Wed nesday evening by the Glee Club of the La Grande High School. Their singing was much enjoyed and, as usual, the musical programme was followed by a dance at which both the Tango and the Hesitation waltz were given. Prominent among the weeks ar rivals was the Rev. W. N. Hinson, pastor of the White Temple, of Port land, who is at the Springs Hotel for a much needed rest. E. A. King, the Portland capitalist, is here with Mrs. King, as is also W. T. Gardner, super intendent of the boys and girls Aid Society. Mrs. A. J. Woods, of Elgin, who is "mother" to every traveling man who makes' the Wallowa country, returned to her home Wednesday after a three weeks rest. Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Bock, Mrs. H. R. McDonalds, R. M. Oliver and Mrs. James Russell have been taking the mineral baths during the past week. Among the others over from La Grande were Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Mc Kinnon, Mrs. G. S. Birnie, Melvin Larson, W. Homer Harris, Mutk Westering, R. W. Russell, Jay Shaw, Ralph Winters, Rex Greene, Lester Slbddard, Lynnb BolirfcnkanVp, Mr. and Mrs. C. H.
