and as the present issue is limit
ed to 250 copies the probability is
that they will soon be exhausted, as
the present number to be disposed of
in La Grande is but twenty-five.

Pins were flying high at the Club
Alleys. Wednesday night when the
Billikens and Alley Rats rolled for
the top rung of the' City League lad
der. The Billikens were leading with
three won n4 none lost while the
Rati were iteend With two Won and
one lost This game was discussed
freely among the bowling' enthus
iasts of the city, and sentiment was
about half and half. The Rats proved
themselves equal to the task by trim
ming the smiling Billikens two out of
three after losing the first game by
the narrow margin of 40 pins. Pat
ton had high score and high aver
age for i the evening with 222 and 624
respectively. Brown and Bacon also
rolled well for the winners, while
Scott, Farrar, McLeod and Kohl rolled
in good form for the vanquished five.
On Thursday nights the Alley Rats
rolled William's "Webfoots" and won
2281 to2246. The Wednesday score
