returned home this morning.
J. E. Woods of Imbler,' returned to
that, place this morning after trans
acting business in the county seat.
Professor Armstrong was among
the passengers on the branch to Imb

Mrs-. J. L. Bozeman of Haines, who
has been in the city some time taking
chiropractic treatment of Dr. Allen,
left for her home this noon. ;. ,

son to the local hospital. She is
suffering from appendicitis and will
undergo an operation.

stopped off in the city to visit with
friends for several days. He is on
his way to Gold Hill, Oregon, and will
leave in two or three days.
. Wm. Fisher one of the promising
young ranches of the Wallowa coun
try, passed -through ' the county seat
this morning enroute to his home,
after visiting in Milton and Walla
Walla.
Mrs. M. R. Dolby of Joseph, return
ed to that place today after visiting
in Baker where she formerly made liar
home. She was the guest of her
daughters, Mrs. Heggie and Mrs.
Cook.
Mrs. W. R. Chattin of Summerville,
who' has bren in the city tor several
days returned home this horning. She
was accompanied by her grandson
Jimmy Smith of La Grande, who will
spend the rest of the winter with her
in Summerville.
