Monroe Participates In Big Baker Poultry Show. The poultry show opened today at the Queen City Furniture company building with a crowing and cackling of the many entrants, says the Baker Herald. W. N. Monroe started to judging and by 2 o'clock this after noon had finished picking the winners in the Brown Leghorn, Ancona, Mi norca, Cornish Game and Plymouth Rock classes. Mr Monroe, who came here from La Grande to judge the show, brought with him one of the most interesting entries, although the chickens being from outside Bak er county, are not listed in the com petition.
