The Joseph basketball team was
defeated at Wallowa last Wednesday
by a score of 42 to 11. The girls
were also defeated by the score , of
3 to 2. This was one of the hardest
fought games played in the county for
years. . The Joseph team intends to
play Jhem here in two weeks.

the First National bank is visiting
at his old home in Iowa during the

Aaron Doak of Prairie creek, broke
his leg while skating last week. Dr.
Mount brought him to town to the
home of his uncle Walter -Doak.
