Gibbs will pay a J tribute to the memory of the late Dr. NeviuB, by whom St. Peter's church was built. It is desired that as many of his old friends and former' parishioners as possible, will be present. The Christmas Day Service at St. Peter's church will be an- ribunced in Wednesday's issue. After having their, routine services broken up last Sunday by the Meth odic, church dedication services,' the churches of the city will get back to their customary services .tomorrow. The choir of the First Presbyterian church have been making special pre paration for the morning and evening Christmas services, of next Sabbath. A chorus choir will render some of the splendid things in Christmas mu sic. All our people are cordially in vited to come and enjoy both the morning and evening programs. On Tuesday evening, beginning at 7:30 the Sunday School Christmas entertainment will have place, and for this occasion also, the committee hav ing the exercises in charge have spar, ed no pains to contribute to the pleas ure and delight of the whole school.
