This place is 2 1-2 miles northwest from Elgin on the main road. There is . 1
now twenty-five (25) acres in cultivation; about ten (10) more can be" put :
in cultivation leaving forty-five (45) good pasture. The land all slopes to
the east, with the southwest corner of the eighty (80) going up to steep,
high hill. There is some good timber on the place. Fourteen (14) acres
of good young Bpple orchard from two (2) to five (6) years old, of which
one-third are Rome Beauties, one-third Grimes Golden, balance several vari
eties; good winter stock. Two (2) acres old orchard, full bearing apples.
There are also other fruit trees and strawberries, raspberries, blackberries;
about 1 1-2 acres alfalfa, two (2) years old. There is a large log barn, three ;
(3) good hen houses, two (2) good wells. There is a spring high above the .
house that could be made to furnish water for house.
The house has ten (10) rooms. It is not entirely finished, but very
comfortable and homelike. The surroundings are certainly beautiful. The .,
' farm is now so anyone can make money on it

the place to run to Oct 16, 1917, at 7 per cent interest. We will consider
