About 18 were present, and hallow e'en decorations and hallowe'en re freshments were the order of things. The rooms were tastefully decorated with autumn leaves, crepe paper, witches bending over steaming caldrons, were conspicuously placed to remind one that Hallowe'en was approaching. Five hundred was play ed until a late hour, H. E. Dixon and Miss Janet Jones winning first prizes. Gingerbread, cider and pump kin pie were served in true-autumnal style. Invited guests were Mrs. Tom Williamson, Misses Day, Jones, Hunt er, Morrison, Snider, Rachel Turner; Messrs. DeVor, Zurbrick, Tom Wil liamson, H. E. Dixon, Robinson and Virgil Bolton. One of the foremost social organiz ations of the city; the Sans Souci club, was brought out from its summer hi bernation last Wednesday evening when Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Loughlin en tertained the club members. This club held a large number of delightful par ties last winter but rested during the summer. At the present week's func tion M. B. Dainty refreshments in keeping wicn tne occasion were served and the table was adorned with two beautiful cakes, each with three tiny candles. the afternoon was spent in games and at evening each guest departed with a jack-o-lantern.
