Special Meeting of PariBh Society
Called for Tomorrow.
At a meeting held last night the
Lutheran church elected trustees and
deacons to fill the expired term of
half the church council expired this
month. The trustees elected were Mr.
H. r imble, Mr. U. Lottos and Mr. N.
Kelson. The following four deacons
were elected; for three years: Mr. M.
Mickelosn, John Lottos and N. J.'
Mansager; for one year, to succeed
himself, O. Stageberg. Four mem
berg of the board of deacons held over
to another year which makes tho num
ber in the church council eight. The
council will organize in the near fu
ture and then the proposed improve
ment on the building will be carried
out

be gone a number of days.

ing to assist in completing the same.
The- hall which forms part of the
building, is to be finished for the
Thanksgiving ball. The rooms that
will be occupied by the bank will be

days. Both Mrs, HiUyard and Mrs.
Banks arrived in La Grande this noon,
(ThuMday) afternoon, for a special, the former on her way to Telocaset

20th of November. The ladies should
