tor, has been accused of the crime of
poligamy by the grand jury, recent
ly discharged. This ws: the outcome
of a case wherein Harney was arrest
ed at North Powder on a bigamy
charge, brought here and charged with
lewd cohabitation and bound over to
the grand jury. He has been arraign

Ralph Moff itt of Elgin, has been
sent to the penitentiary for a term of
one to seven years as a result of the
grand jury session. ,He was accused
of stealing money from H. W. Beuhl's
store at Elgin, where he was employ
ed, and pleaded guilty to the charge
and was sentenced. The same omnd
jury indicted A. Newlin on a statutory

Angelo Magnovito yesterday after
noon hit Angelo Vitirito over the head
with an umbrella, then kicked him and
later struck Angelo No. 2 with his
fist, according to a charge in police
court to which Judge Warnick fixed a
fine of $10 on Aneelo No. 1. Th
fight took place on Jefferson avenue
and probably ended with the arrest
and fine.
