Home grown celery is now on sale at 10 cents per bunch and it is a fine grade for this early in the season. The California celery is still in market at two bunches for a quarter. A new color of grapes put in ap pearance yesterday, being of a red dish hue and much sweeter than those heretofore sold. . Eagle Valleys on Market. The load of Eagle Valley tomatoes which were brougV. to the city yes terday by wagon are selling at 90 cents a box and are of a fine red, juicy variety, which are excellent for can ning purposes. Oscar Crossen and four others went in today to bring out loads. Peaches are still the most popular fresh fruit and retail today at 85 cents to $1.10 per box. ... Sweet Pear Popular. The early sweet pear is becoming a fixed product in markets. . A new car of watermelons is ordered but it is not certain yet that they will arrive here in time to prevent a short age for a couple of days next week.
