District Superintendent Winters held the fourth and last quarterly con ference for the year in the Methodist church last evening. The annual re ports of the various heads of the sev eral departments were read and filed. The church is in splendid condition. A resolution was presented and unani mously adopted complimenting Dr. El B. Fyke for the. splendid work, that had been accomplished the past 12 months under his direction and offi cially asking that he be returned to this charge for another year. Among the many items of interest contained in the nastor's report was the state ment that 93 new members had been received into the church duxinc the I past year. The Sunday school also is looking forward to a targe increase in numbers and efficiency when the new church is completed, the present quarters being entirely inadequate to the present demands.
