LA GRANDE EVENING OBSERVER Sunday School union, was in Wallowa several days this week. He has es-j tablished seven Bible schools in the county during this month, organizing the last two at Liberty and Willow Springs districts. On his way to La Grande, Mr. Crymes will stop at Min ara to organize a school The Amer ican Sunday School union does splen did work in the rural districts. It is reported that during its existence of 87 years it has established more than 129 000 Sunday schools. The barber shop owned by Geo. Willett was sold this week to Henry Meehan. Mr. Willet left Sunday for having been former owner of the Cen tral Bath tonsorial parlors, and Hen ry's many friends are glad to see him back at the business. ' Farmers throughout this section are busily engaged in "making hay while the sun shines." This week will near ly finish all the cutting of the firstt crop of alfalfa and timothy, and the cutting and binding of grain hay has begun. .- Mrs. Theo.
