Local Man Again On Screen. i
During the course of the past win
ter La Granders saw several pictures,
by the American Film company in
which Mr. and Mrs. Devere, local peo
ple, the former, daughter of Dave
Stewart, played the leading roles and
this evening at the Arcade Mr. Devere
appears in the leading role of a two
reel film entitled "The Soul of the
Thief." Mr. Devere said this morning:
"We are back to La Grande on a va
cation, and I 'shall see myself act this
evening. The company has moved its
studio from Chicago to southern Cali
fornia and Mrs. Dever and I shall re-
i turn to our work there soon."
