Edvalson Tuesday night in his splendid new circular barn. Over fifty couples were present and enjoyed themselves in the social, dance until the Wee sma' hours of the morn. The barn is of modern type and doubts ' less the forerunner of many to be built here, the ground floor is, of cement 'and the second floor of surfaced lum ber. This year they were for tunate in getting their hay in their j bams before it was damaged by rain as was the case last year, x It in expected a saw mill will be put in here this fall by J. L. Feik and sons. ' Huckleberry pickers are bringing in some fine berries this week. Several have been able to gather over two gal lons each in a day. A July frost visited many spots in VVullowa county Monday morning, nip ping tender vegetables. The min imum recorded in Enterprise was 28 degrees, which probably continued only a short time.
