Corporation Commissioner Watson has been informed by the First Trust company, oi Portland, that it desires to dissolve and go out of business at once. It was organized April 15, 1912, with a capital stock of $500,000, with $100,000 paid up. Soon after the cap ital stock was reduced to $20,000. A preliminary statement of the com pany's business recently filed with the. corporation commissioner did not meet the requirements of the law. James Ellis, one of the pioneer farm J ' ers of the Camas Prairie country, met i with an accident near Nye yesterday afternoon, while hauling a load of hay. ! ! which resulted in his death. It if not known iust what happened, as he was packed up along' side of the road under iiart of a load, of hay in an unconscious condition, with his head badly cut up, one theory being that he fell between the load and team striking his head on the wagon tongue, cri'xhinp-.si the froht nart of the skull. He was taken to Pilot Rock and Dr ''lli,nd called, who did all he could for the patient, but he passed away without being able to tell any of the parficu'ars of the accident. The deceased leaves a wife and three children to mourn his death. He was about 61 years of age and had been farming in the southern part of the country for a number of years.
