W. I. Hunter, of Sumner, sold his

The staff of school teachers for the
ensuing year is practically complete.
Only three of the former teachers be
ing re-engaged. The seventh and
eighth grade teachers have not as yet
been selected. The applicants for these
positions are numerous. The staff as

The division of the Minam and Wal
lowa national forests which has been
under consideration for some time, has
finally been completed. Deputy Sup
ervisor Barnes left Wallowa Tuesday
for Baker, where he will be acting
supervisor of the Minam national for

the Minam Eagle Cap, south fork of
