Yet Offered for Sale. . Strawberries that are grown on the outskirts of La Grande are showing the best quality and size of any ber ry that hsts'this year been offered the consuming public. ' Since the local berry has become somewhat plentiful there has been a decline in crate lots but the single box is still selling for what the Easterner 'calls a . shilling. The crate sells for $2.50. Coye ' ber ries have not been generally needed to fill out the supply for. the local growers have flooded the market the past day of two with, a very, fine grade and there has been, no occasion to go beyond the'home berry, though the . local supply .will probably , give out before the Cove berries are gone.
