boys a game of baseball last Sunday
at Lostine. Score being 6 to 6 in

much for the Braves today and the
visitors took the third game of the
series by the score of 3 to 2. Woods
allowed only , two hits, and that tells
the .. story, .'i-j Jensen, the V left-handed
twirler released by Baker and signed
by Engle last week, worked against
his former teammates and they, beat
him by bunching hits for three -runs
in-the fourth inning. Outside of that
inning he did well' enough, being
helped out of several, tight holes by j
fast fielding. The Baker infield
worked better and Cress handled
Woods' twisters better than he did
Ward's the day before.'

hit . Welch safely 10 times, but they
were scattered, while the Bears could
do but little with Peet when hits
