Imbler's record growth during the
past 15 months has been par excell
ent During , that period seven or
eight new residence, many impnpve
mente, and a large storage house
have been built. To head off . the
building for 1913, the Imbler bank
announces its intention to build for
iself a new modern home. It is ex
pected that several other buildings
will be constructed this summer. .
Although a poor market for a good
crop greatly disappointed the grow
ers last season, they have manifested
their faith in their community
planting more potatoes, and planning
to grow more apples this year than
ever before. . The market conditions
have ben studied carefully and the
growers predict no trouble for the
growing crops
Business conditions have ben about
as good as usual, and the merchants
are planning on doing a record busi
ness this summer and fall. '

TERRITORY GOOD
Sunshine for the past few days
has given back . to the Sandridge
farmer his usual cheery smile. Most
of the crops are now in and all that
are growing like hay in an Alaskan
summer. -
Mr. McKinnis, who owns the Alicel
general merchandise store, reports
that business this year has been fully
up to standard and that all of the
farmers are planning on excellent
returns from this summer's yield.
Alicel and Imbler people have not
been working so hard as to forget
the national game either. Once or
twice a week Mayor Conley of Alicel
declares a half holiday and all turn
out for a real old time ball game.
Not a one to nothing shut out but a
17 to 21 good time. Last Saturday
Imbler captured the game, but on
Sunday the Alicel boys were in bet
ter trim and won from Imbler. :

A traveling man met with an acci
dent last Tuesday in ' front of the
Imbler hotel. He started to crank
an auto and it kicked back and broke
his arm. The arm was set by Dr.
Barrett of Imbler. ,
C. Holms had the misfortune of
losing a fine cow last Sunday morn
ing. ',.
The high school baseball team got
