Southern Baptists Meet. St. Louis, May 13. Mora than a thousand delegates to the Southern Baptist convention assembled here to day at the Third Baptist church for a week's sessions. The delegates in clude prominent ministers, lawyers, physicians and educators. The con vention has no judicial or legislative function as every Baptist church is absolutely independent.
