(Special) The Baker high school track team made almost a clean sweep at the annual Eastern Oregon interscholas tic tract meet at Round-up park Sat urday ' afternoon,'; winning both the meet and relay face and taking first place in 11 out of 14 events. Baker nade 61 points and Wallowa, the nearest competitor for first honors, but. 18. Frye Herbert of Baker was the in- dividaul star of the meet, winning threel first places for ; a total of 15 points. Harold Weeks of Baker, was also in the limelight, taking two first places and ten. points for his j team. There were 16 events sched-1 uled, but owing to the high wind the two hurdle races . were called off. The track was slow and the show ing good, considering the conditions. The Baker team made a total of 61 points against 49 mace uy all their rivals together, including Wallowa, 18; Pendleton 12; La Grande 9; Athe na 6; Ontario 4; Union 1. Summary of Events.
