By bunching hits and getting more
of them, Walla Walla beat La Grande
eight to four. Garber walked seven,
struck out three and kept hits scat
tered. Gooch . struck out 8 and
walked two. .Davis for Walla Walla
hit a homer in the seventh. Walla
Walla got one run in each of first
three innigs. In the fourth three hits
and a base on balls brought more
runs. . Davis' homer added the sev-
enth. - La Grande got one in the sec
ond, one in fourth, neither earned. In
the ninth La Grande go two through
errors and ; a single.- Lundstrom,
Bear short stop, made two errors let
ting in two scores. Martini's work in

third. Childers .-walked, filling the
bases. Luhdstrom singled, scoring
Brown ad Johnson. Childers took a
lead off third and Gooch tried to
throw him out but the . ball went too
high and Childers came home. .
