bottle of carbolic acid in the wagon in
which his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Clements of Payette, Ida., were trav
eling, 3-year-old Roy, Jr., drank it
and died this morning. The' Clemens
family were on their way to Wash
ington to locate, and had stopped at
Pocahontas, six miles from here,
when the tragedy occurred.

Stockholders in the Farmers' Mu
tual Warehouse Co., are planning to
take up the business of buying grain
as well as the handling of grain in
warehouses, according to Manuel
Friedley, a prominent worker in the
the company. The Farmers' Mutual
now has warehouses at Stanton,
Helix and Vansycle and last year
handled over 250,000 sacks of wheat

operating in much the' same way as
the Farmers' Union Grain agency.

est attraction, closely seconded by the
clean boxing "mill" between Vaughn
and Taylor. Altogether, 121.75 was
raised for the Annual.
Mr. and Mrs. Rumble have proved
themselves royal entertainers. On
April 16 they seized the school facul
ty, inarched them to the Hotel Jan
ntngs, and there confronted them
with the most wonderful array of
chicken pie' and everything else in
eatables that hungry schoolmam's
ever put forks into. They ry the
teachers showed their appreciation

suming everything in sight, they left
with a smile, of satisfaction that
