Civil Service Examinations.
The U. S. Civil Service Commission
announces that a forest and field
cerk examination will be held in this
city April 26 1013, for the purpose of
securng eligible from which selec
tion may be made to fill vacancies in
the Forest and IRecamation services
as they may occur. The salaries
paid are from $1200 to $1500 per an
num. Employment. In the Reclama
tion service' will-' be ' ) connection
with the Sun River and milk River
reclamation ' -projects In Montana,
probably' at Fort Shaw (a camp to wo
on the railroad), at the Sun River
Diversion camp, about 20 miles from
the railroad, at Malta, Montana (a
town of about 800), and at Vandalia,
Montana a diversion ramp on the
railroad. The work will last for two
or three years, and capable and effic
ient empoyees will probably be In de
mand tor transfer to some other re
clamation project when the present
work Is finished. There 'are good
prospects of advancement, which Is
conditional only on demonstrated
efficiency.
