newer offerings, still the public is be
ginning to take to the higher quoted
stuff.
Shipments of new potatoes from
Callforna have shown a very mater
ial Increase during the last few days
and sales are now being made down
to 7c a pound in sack lots. At this
time of the season, when, prices are
so high for new stock, the purcnases
are mostly In small lots, which are
generally quoted today around 7 He.
