men right now saying they will favor

that way before and It will be that
way again.

The earnest support of everyone
should be given B. E. Kennedy, secre
tary of the Bull Moose committee on
legislation in his effort to get passed
a bill to elect national committeemen
of each political party rather than to
choose them In the present manner
which brings on disgrace to a state
such as Oregon experienced last sum
mer. It Is very doubtful If the Oregon
delegation to the republican national
convention would have disgraced
themselves and the state as a number
of them did, had It not been for the
trading and trafflclng In public office
to re-elect the national committeeman.

has been minimized In importance by
the people, or a better way to express
It, the people have never been taken
