California millers were mis led by the government report of the amount of wheat raised In the north west and have not nut In the supplies that they thought they would need. As a result they were compelled to purchase Turkey red In stead of the harder quality. Some quotations from the coast put the price at 96c. All of the markets of the world show an increase In the price and It will not be long before the price will have mounted to a dollar. - Bidding wai brisk and (he market will be bul lish from now on. Hops Fall m a McUe. The hog market was so well sup piled that the price fell to a lower notch. It Is not thought that It will be for any length of time, since the demand for prime stuff has been good and will continue to be all winter. Cattle Slow and Firm. Cattle receipts have not varied very much In the last month and the dally receipts are Just enough to leave the price at 8 cents. Lower grades are crowding the better prices for the beat price and the difference between prime beeves and the poor er quality Is less than it was a week ago.
