Notice of the recorder of the city of
La Graude, Oregon, of the assessment
of section No. 3 sever district No. 1,
of the city of La Grande, Oregon.
Notice Is hereby given that the as
sessment for the Improvement of sec
tlon No. 3 sewer district No. 1 of the
city of La Grande, Oregon, under the
provisions of Ordinance No. CIO, series
1912, entitled, "An ordinance declar
ing the cost of Installing a sewer In
section No. 3 sewer district No. 1, of
the city of La Grand1?, Oregon; de
termining the property benefited there
by: levying an assessment thereoa to
defray the costs and expenses of the
Improvement; providing for the as
sessment roll of the same and direct
ing the entry of said assessment in the
docket of city liens; providing a time
when the same shall become delin
quent and requiring the city recorder
to prepare n spoclal assessment roll in
accordance with the assessment here
in leviled and to collect said assess
ment," the same being section No. 3
sewer district No. 1, of the city of La
Grande, Oregon, Is now in my hands
for collection and that any install
ment therein may be paid to me at any
time within ten (10) days from the 12
day of November, 1912, without penalty
Interest or cost; and each property
owner Is hereby notified that on ap
plication to the undersigned within
tn (10) days from the 12th day of
November, 1912, which is the first date
of the publication of this notice, they
will be allowed to pay such assess
ment in ten (10) annual Installments,
the lirst installni 'iit thereof being due
and payable on or before the 12th day
of November 1913. If application is
not made as above provided, the whole
amount will be and becoin due, pay
able and delinquent on the 22nd day of
