Severance this after noon when he called to order the an nual meeting of the Minnesota State Bar Association and delivered his an nual ; address. President Severance was followed by Walter George Smith of Philadelphia, president of the Na tional - Conference of Commissioners on TJniform State Laws, who spoke on the subject of "Uniform Legislation." The meeting will continue Its sessions over tomorrow and Wednesday. The judicial recall, workmen's compensa tion and other subjects of live public Interest are scheduled for discussion.
