With Progressive Membership
Wallowa county Is rapidly becoming
' saturated with progressives who have

Roosevelt, according to Daniel Boyd
the Enterprise lawyer who was a del
egate from Oregon to the late and now
famous republican convention at Chi
cago and who stood out against the ,

her. In fear of her life, Mrs. Edwards
killed her husband one night and then
threw his body in a well. On a secoud
trial Gleason was acquitted, but the
woman was convicted and sentenced
to be hanged.

battle of Bennington as a legal holi

perintendent in La Grands.
The board reserves the right to re
ject any and all bids.
