They Drowned.
Huntington, Ore., Aug. 9. Search
for the bodies of the two daughters
of John Powell who were drowned
in the flood that swept away their
home last Friday Is still unrewarded.
Some now express the fear that the
bodies were carried to the Snake riv
er and beyond where the searching
parties could go.
Steam shovels and a party of men
have been working on the reservoir
formed on the Seaburg place, since
Sunday, but have not cleared away
the wreckage. It Is hoped that the
bodies wlU be found there though It
will be several days before they can
be reached.

of Central America.
The little brown wren of Central
America builds a nest that should be-
