Hundreds ln La Grande are anxious to hear their fellow jvoman who has attained great renown iq musical circles in the very centers of the world's best, and will greet this announcement with acclaim. La Grande people will very proba bly attend, in numbers, a recital to be given by Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Herbst at Union soon. About six years ago when Mrs. Herbst, then Mi.ss Wright, gave a recital in La Grande, she was much appreciated at the time being a student in Berlin music circles.
