Since old Father Time began to
whet his scythe, never has there been
so fine a manifested spirit between
the two greater towns of our magni
ficent valley. Could there have been
a warmer reception accorded anyone
anywhere than the one the Chautau
qua boosters received in Union last
Tuesday evening. If they could do so
royally without notice what would
they have done had they but known!
We shall not try to guess. We have
no occasion to wish they had been
