preme court
"Because these respondents have

seditions of the past, penalties in

ed Justice Wright In his decision.
Three of Wrights colleague sat on the
bench with him when he read his de
cision which was lengthy. Although
the Justice skipped many pages of his
reading It consumed nearly two hours.
As the decision of the court was read,
Gompers ao, Morrison were ordered
to stand and face the court They did
so. Both were pale. Wright then sen
tenced them. ,
