moved into their new home in : La
Grande which - they recently ; pur
chased from Herry Myers on T ave
nue. Mr. and Mrs. Braden have been
residents of this neighborhood for con
siderably over 20 years and friends
regret to see them leave', .

yesterday morning to spend a few
days with her sister, who Is quite 111.

Joseph Lynbarger - has returned
from, Dayton, Wash., where he was
absent about thee weeks- for the re
moval of a cancer on one side of his
face Mr. Lynebargerils feeling quite
well since the cancer was drawn.
. Mrs. W. G. Sawyer, who resides
near Hot Lake, is still .confined to
her 'bed with ' a Sprained ankle. She
thrown from the buggy while
driving home from La Grande, when
the horses suddenly became frighten
ed at some campers ou the side of
the road. . .
