A hearing was held before Governor McGovern today on an application for the par don of Harry Dunn, who is serving a life tern In the prison at Waupoa. Dunn was convicted of the murder of Emll Leber, a Milwaukee saloonkeep er, August 3, 1898. He was convicted on circumstantial evidence and has always maintained his innocence. The pardon Is asked -chiefly on the ground that the prisoner Is suffering from tuberculosis and cannot live Jong if kept in confinement.
