Esteemed Citizen of the City for Many Years Is LniI to Rest. , w Attended by many friends neighbors and a large representation from the high school the remains of the late Mrs. George Leadsworth were laid away this afternoon from the Metho dist church. The senior and junior classes and the faculty of the high school sent floral tributes that be spoke the high esteem of the Leadsr worth family in scohol circles and the members of the senior' class of which Miss Maude Leadsworth Is a member, and under graduates, as' well attend ed'the funeral services.- '"','' . Mrs. Anna L. De' Ford Leadsworth was born Jan. 7, 1867, in Green coun ty,' Iowa, and died the 19th instant. She was married to George B.' Leads worth In ' 1885 . and came to Oreogu in 1889, living In La Grande as a re spited and honored citizen from that time on.'
