Oregon, on tha 27th day of Decombor,
1911, creating a special improvement
district, the property hereinafter de
scribed as such district and the coun
cil proposes to assess the cost of the
sewer o the extent of the cost of au
eight Inch sewer, the amount of each
property owner's assessment being
stated in said resolution, the council
will ten days after the service of this
iiotice upon the owners of the proper
ty affected and benefited by such Im
provement, levy said assessment; that
the boundaries oi said district to be
bo Improved are the exterior lines of
the property hereinafter described as
lieing benefitted, viz: . ...
Blocks 115, 114, 113, 113, 111 and 110
of Chaplin's addition; Blocks 3, 4, and
6 of Coggan's addition; and tracts H,
I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, 'R, S, T and U
and block 12 of Coggan's second addi
tion all In the city of La Grande, Union
county, Oregon.
Notice Is hereby further given that
the council will levy a special assess
ment on all the property affected and
benefitted by such Improvement for
the purpose of paying for such Im
provement. That the estimated cost
of such Improvement is the sum of
$6,271.77. That tlio council will on
the 17th day of January, 1912, meet at
the council chamber at the hour of
8 o'clock p. m. to, consider said esti
mated cost and the levy of said as
sessment, when - a hearing will be
granted to any person feeling aggriev
ed by such assessment.
