Basketball for the 1911-1912 season
makes Us1 debut at the high school
gymnasium next Friday night when
the Imbler school, said to be the
strongest ever representing the ver
satile basketball town,' comes here to
meet the huskies who comprise the
La Qrande squad. . If everything
moves off as It Is expected, La Grande
will win but the players are anxious
to get a good score -the first game of
the year. It will afford the students
and other lovers of the game a first
class opportunity to see La Grande s
squad in action which is the biggest
In nolnt of numbers and size of play
ers that has yet represented the school

the two teams a scoring machine of
