Among those who were In attend ance at the state meeting Pendleton la decidedly the favored town for the tri-etate meeting to be held this win ter. The Invitation from the Commer cial club to meet here this year was warmly received and efforts will be wade by those who were in attendance to bring about such a result. "We have met In Walla Walla for two years." said W. W. Harrah this morning, "'and we would like to bring the convention to Pendleton for a change. Pendleton Is a very conveni ent point In every way and we are in topes of bringing the convention here However. Walla Walla Is endeavoring to secure the gathering again and has the prestige of having entertained the past conventions In good style.
