Record breaking crowds will leave for North Beach next Wednesday eve ning at 8 o'clock if the number of reservations for berths made before the official sale commences, ia Indi cative of what the final sales will be. The sale of tickets and final berth res ervations commences tomorrow morn ing and continues until the' train, made up of Baker and La Grande tour ists, leaves La Grande at 8 o'clock. Local Agent J, H. Keeney today announced final details for the sale of tickets and berth reservations. The standard and tourist reservations can be made final and be paid for tomor row, removing aa much as possible i!: i "T ' moment. Neat ly all of two standard" sleepers and all but a few of two tourist sleepers have been spoken for and if the res ervations are made early , enough, there will t standard or tourist ac commodations enough for every one. La Grande will evidently turn out a bigger force of tourists this year than ever though last year the local plea sure seekers overran all Pullman ac commodations and sat in chair cars all the way to Portland. The big opening number, "The Palace Of Revelry." will be a revelation. " This beautiful production Is a masterpiece of the so?ne painter's art, and it has been months in construction The costumes and settings comprise "sev eral thousand yards ot silk, satin and velvet. Twenty of the best singers ?ver carried by a minstrel organiza tion and 13 of the funniest comedians will hold high revelry for an hour. This will be followed by another hour and a half of the brightest and snap piest' of olios, comprising two big spectacular southern numbers. Intro ducing aongs and dances of the south, land as only the negro can execute them. Seven other big vaudeville acts and a one-act musical comedy that is one long scream of laughter. ; , ,.
