Committees appointed at the maiden meeting held in this city a few weeks ago were ready to Treport. in . detail and perhaps the most Important of these was the by-law committee,; Pat terned after the ; national Auto club by-laws, the document . stands well night perfect. The business meeting adopted the report in '"toto and while much of the report is technical, estab lishing the nominal fee, payable $3.00 semi annually, and creating the rules of, procedure, the general tone of the by-laws line out a field of work and social enjoyment that will make the club worth while. Sixty-six have signed the charter membership and other subscriptions are still out . The by-laws provide for honorary, active and non-re3ldent members, and the general purpose of the club is to promulgate social features, arrange and promote runs and meets, ,k&ep accurate tab of records made; look to ward betterment of highways, and in various other ways become a factor for good In the community. 'Motor cycl ists are eligible. Nine directors will constitute the governing board and all sections of tin i valley are to be represented. From these nine men, a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer will be chosen, this at a nearby date.
