Men Come From All Sections of the Country for Gathering. Minneapolis, Minn., June 13. The 16th annual convention of the Nation al Association of Credit Men began In this city today and will continue four days. On the last day the sessions will be transferred to St. Paul. . The attendance embraces more than 1,000 delegates, representing the leading wholesale houses and manufacturing firms In all parts of the country. The convention was culled to order at 11 o'clock this morning by the pres ident, Ff H. McAdow of Chicago. Gov ernor Eberhardt and Mayor Haynes delivered addresses of welcome. Re sponses In behalf of the visitors were made by H. u. oore oi Kauaa Cily and II. E. Choate. of Atlanta. President McAdow delivered his an nual address, In which he reviewed the history of credit men's asoclatlons and the salutary results achieved by them lj placing business upon a sounder basis and In securing needed legislation. , The address of the presl dent was followed by the report of the secretary-treasurer, Charles E. Meek, of New York. The afternoon session was devoted to the reports of the stand Ing committees and to addresses by James J. Hill, president of the Great Northern railway, and H. K. Huntoon of Stillwater, Minn. The session con cluded with an address on "Reclpro city," by H. H. Pigott of Winnipeg. Right Back at Her. Brown, at the present assistant supervisor of the Wallowa national forest, as acting su pervisor of the new division and set ting July 1 as the date for the change, the department of agriculture com pletes a change contemplated for four years. All east and south of this line will constitute the Mlnam forest. It lies In the three counties of Baker, Wallowa and Union.
