planing mills, saw - mills soon to be

a payroll of $185,009 per month; a
saw mill worth $500,000; a sugar fac

ing orchards, winter apples, and near-
ly that many more has been planted

clubs is now. being formed stn Union

commercial chain. An earnest appeal
will be sent forthringing with strong
arguments for more factories and in

Arthur Oliver of Powder valley, who
Is a brother of Jack Oliver, Turner
Oliver,' and who has otherelatlves in
this city, lost one leg by amputation
yesterday following a consultation be
tween physician regarding his con

called to Baker yesterday for this pur
pose and It was found that amputation
of the injured leg below the knee was
