The young couple gave - their friends the slip and went to the Un ion county metropolis, from , which place they continued their Journey af. ter the ceremony was over, to spend a brief honeymoon In Portland. The couples first met in the U. Weil store, where all are employed t as clerks. Working side , by side each day, they formed friendships which de veloped into a flame of love, with the happy result noted above. J. Kerr, president of the agricultural college.
