"Those Songs My Mother Used to sing" is the title of a song which brought vociferous applause at the Isls last night when C. P. Ferrin sang the beautiful ballad to a packed house. The song is so catching and the sing ing waa to perfect that there were criea for more at Ihe conclusion of each song. For Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the Isls has a special song hit and Mr. Ferrin and Miss Gar rick two of the tip top singers of the city will be heard handling this fine number: Both these people are popu lar with everyone. ' Mr. Ferrin has long been a skilled singer and Miss Garrick is fast winning wide popular ity for her attractive voice. Durlns this entire week the Isls will have spe cially strong musical numbers. Mr. King the man who hammers the Ivor les like only an artist can, also has something on the slate for the Isls customers.
