' Mrs. Claude Lynch arrived this morn ing from Medford, Oklahdma, her hus bnd having preceded her to La Grande S;veral weeks ago. The arrival of Mrs. Lynch is Indicative of what he thinks of La Grande. Mr. Lynch Is a first clas alnter and paper hanger and has round no trouble getting work, in his line G. L. Sawyer, of the Hardscrabbla fruit ranch at Imbler was in the city this afternoon to attend the meeting of eastern Oregon fruit mens association He is a member of the local union at Imbler. He was registered at the Som mer while here. C. A.
